Be it ordained by the members of the Sangguniang Bayan of Burauen, Leyte in session, that:
SECTION 1. Title – This ordinance shall be known as “An Ordinance Regulating the Manufacture, Distribution, Sale, and Use of Firecrackers and Pyrotechnic Devices, including Improvised Mini-Cannons in the Municipality of Burauen, Leyte.”
SECTION 2. Policy – It is hereby declared as a policy of the Municipality to regulate the manufacture, distribution, sale, and use of firecrackers, pyrotechnic devices, and other related tools within the Municipality of Burauen, consistent with and in furtherance of public safety, order, and security, as well as the enhancement of cultural traditions.
