An ordinance adopting and/or localizing the implementation of Republic Act No. 9208, otherwise known as the “Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003,” in the Municipality of Burauen, Leyte.
Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan in session assembled, that
SECTION 1. Title. This ordinance shall be known as: “AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AND/OR LOCALIZING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9208, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE “ANTI-TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS ACT OF 2003″, IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BURAUEN, LEYTE”.
SECTION 2. Scope and Application – This ordinance shall cover all the provisions enumerated in the Act itself.
SECTION 3. Effectivity Clause – This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
