An Ordinance Requiring All Occupants of Market Stalls in the Public Market to Provide Their Business Establishments with Trash Cans and Prohibiting the Same Stall Occupants from Raising Pigs in the Market Areas.

WHEREAS, during a conference among the occupants of market stalls on March 16, 1981 which was attended by the Mayor the matter on the health and sanitation problem in the market area was discussed and a consensus was reached that every business establishment in the public market should provide a trash can whic will serve as a receptacle for waste materials;

WHEREAS, it was likewise agreed in the same conference that raising pigs in the market area is insanitary the fact that food commodities are sold in the area especially the eatery section where sanitation needs to be maintained always:

WHEREFORE, on motion of Kagawad Radam, seconded by Kagawad Martillano,

BE IT ORDAINED THAT THE MEMBERS OF THE SANGGUNIANG BAYAN IN ITS SPECIAL SESSION ASSEMBLED, that

Section 1 – This Ordinance shall be called An Ordinance requiring all occupants of market stalls in the public market to provide their business establishments with trash cans and prohibiting the same stall occupants from raising pigs in the market area.

Section 2 – Every market stall occupants and all operators of business establishments located in the public market area should provide each with trash cans, the sixe of a kerosene can painted with green and covered with a lid top;
