An ordinance amending Section 10 of Ordinance No. 02, embodied in Resolution No. 96-51, series of 1996, otherwise known as the Omnibus Cockfighting Ordinance of Burauen, Leyte.
Be it ordained by the members of the Sangguniang Bayan of Burauen, Leyte, in session, that
SECTION 1 – That Section 10 of Ordinance No. 02, embodied in Resolution No. 96-51, series of 1996, otherwise known as the Omnibus Cockfighting Ordinance of Burauen, Leyte, should now be read as follows:
“SECTION 10. LICENSING OF COCKPIT
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE OPERATION OF A COCKPIT:
No operation of a cockpit shall be allowed unless the following are complied with:
A. MAYOR’S BUSINESS PERMIT
The Municipal Mayor or his duly authorized representative shall issue a permit for the operation of a cockpit upon compliance of all the requirements for the application of a Mayor’s Business Permit, to wit:
1. Real Property Tax
2. Fire Clearance
3. Health and Sanitation Clearance
4. Municipal Tax Clearance
