An ordinance adopting and approving the town plan of the Municipality of Burauen, Leyte, for 1982-1991 subject to the endorsement by the Regional Development Council through its RDC Executive Committee to the Ministry of Human Settlements/Human Settlements Regulatory Commission.
Whereas, the people of the Municipality of Burauen, Leyte, had worked together to evolve a guide which will direct their concerted effort and use of their scarce resources to secure a quality of life;
Whereas, the town plan having been submitted to the Sangguniang Bayan of Burauen, Leyte, after considering the comments and recommendations of the Regional Technical Review Committee and the general public during the public hearing/consultation, finds the same to be an effective instrument to attain the development goals and objectives of the municipality;
Whereas, the town plan presented for consideration should have to conform with the request of the residents affected within the institutional areas that there will be a distinction of their real properties to correspond with the color of residential areas as discussed during the public hearing;
Whereas, Letter of Instruction No. 729 issued on August 9, 1978 has required us that all local government should have to submit their land use, plan, zoning ordinance, enforcement system and procedures to the Ministry of Human Settlements for review and ratification, hence this resolution.
