An ordinance authorizing the conferment of exemplary public service award to elective local officials of the Municipality of Burauen who have been elected for three (3) consecutive terms in the same position.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE SANGGUNIANG BAYAN OF BURAUEN, LEYTE, IN SESSION, that:
SECTION 1. The conferment of Exemplary Public Service Award to elective local officials of the Municipality of Burauen who have been elected for three (3) consecutive terms in the same position is hereby authorized. It shall be known as EPSA for brevity.
SECTION 2. The EPSA shall consist of a Plaque of Appreciation, it shall be accorded to a qualified elected Municipal Official on or before the last day of service in an appropriate public ceremony to be conducted for the purpose. The necessary and incidental expenses needed to implement this ordinance shall be appropriated and be included in the executive budget for the year when any Municipal Official will qualify for the award.
