An ordinance establishing the municipality of Burauen “one barangay-one scholar” college scholarship assistance program and appropriating funds therefore.
Be it enacted by the Sangguniang Bayan in session assembled, that
SECTION 1. TITLE. This ordinance shall be known as an “Ordinance Establishing the Municipality of Burauen “One Barangay-One Scholar” College Scholarship Assistance Program and Appropriating Funds Therefore”;
SECTION 2. OBJECTIVE. The primary objective is to ensure that deserving public high school graduates from the Barangays within the municipality especially those from families who do not have the financial means, will have the opportunity to pursue college education in a state college, university or technical and vocational schools, through the “One Barangay One Scholar” College Scholarship Assistance Program;
SECTION 3. COVERAGE. This ordinance shall cover the poor but deserving high school graduates who are qualified and willing to take up Baccalaureate Degree Courses or Vocational and Technical Courses;
