An ordinance increasing the laboratory examination fees of the Burauen Rural Health Unit, amending Municipal Ordinance No. 02, embodied in Municipal Resolution No. 2006-024, Series of 2006 of Burauen, Leyte.
Be it ordained by the Members of the Sangguniang Bayan in session assembled, that
Section 1 – Title. This ordinance shall be called “An Ordinance Increasing the Laboratory Examination Fees of the Burauen Rural Health Unit, Amending Municipal Ordinance No. 02, Embodied in Municipal Resolution No. 2006-024, series of 2006 of Burauen, Leyte”.
Section 2 – Policy – It is the policy of the Municipality that health is a primary concern which needs legislation to improve health services to the constituents.
Section 3 – Imposition of Fees/Charges – The new fees/charges which shall be imposed for laboratory services by the Rural Health Unit shall be as follows:
Patients who belong to impoverished family shall be free for laboratory examinations, provided that a certification of indigence must be secured from the Office of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office,
